Upon receipt, BCS staff will review the Patient Record data for completeness, and create the electronic patient record within the BCS system. Our staff will then perform all necessary CPT-4 and ICD9-CM coding by a degreed Medical Records Director and staff, admit the patient account to the BCS PASS Patient Accounting System. On an average, more than 90% of the professional charges are processed electronically to the nation's third party payers, those requiring paper claim submission formats are processed as well. In those instances where the patient does not have or does not provide any third party payer information, we will process those charges directly to the patient. BCS will even provide processing to all secondary carriers as a service to you and your patient community.
