US Senate continues to attempt to push healthcare legislation but nearly all amendments have been rejected, Baucus admits the .5% increase for Medicare in 2010 is not acceptable, but does not elaborate on what is intended. Filled with many new taxes, CBO will evaluate and recalculate the Baucus bill's cost which may be out by mid-week but general rumors are that the costs have notably increased.
