Clearly the House leadership believes -erroneously- that all healthcare providers -INCLUDING CRNAs- are fully capable of delivering the same level of comprehensive healthcare services as today, at Medicare reimbursement rates for services provided to more and more patients. Imposing this level of reimbursement will force the overall national average anesthesia conversion factors down significantly, and as more individuals would move to the "public option" the reimbursement averages would continue fall further and further below break even levels. As reported today, this proposal if ever passed will result in overall substantial income reductions for all healthcare providers -INCLUDING CRNAS-
