BCS Announces the completion of the National Provider Identification Application...Provider ID Assigned Instantaneously

As required under HIPAA, BCS has commenced the application process for all BCS practices' NPIs -National Provider Identification. BCS has already received notification of several assigned NPIs. The online process is handled directly by BCS and is similar to the overall CMS Provider Application Process. Each healthcare provider will be assigned an NPI via this application process. When fully implemented and operational as required by HIPAA in May 2007, this unique number will need to be made available to those entities that process billing for your professional services.
