The Business of Today's Anesthesia Practice
    Full Day Session-December 1, 2004
    Bellagio Hotel-Las Vegas, NV

    Presented by
    Premier Anesthesia Seminars
Guest Lecturer Lee S. Broadston, President & CEO
    BCS, Incorporated

Regardless of the practice setting of any anesthesia provider today, hospital employed, group employed, or self-employed, today's anesthesia practice is one that is filled with complexity, demanding attention to every business operational detail. Reaching to the highest level clinically is no longer enough to insure success. Today's anesthesia providers must be business managers, department managers, discal agents, and budgetary responsive; furthermore they must understand the complexities of coding, charge development and delivery of their anesthesia services. Today's anesthesia providers need to look at their practice patterns and even co-providers in a different light. Today's sweeping healthcare cost saving measures and regulations may well force the formation of new anesthesia groups, employ and even unemploy others, and present wonderful opportunities to those who are away. The business of Today's Anesthesia Practice has been designed to address these important issues.
